The company and its owner Nick O'Connor is a serial entrepreneur with several companies of the founded companies in operation. One is the sawmill Rainlands Timber Ltd, at Kamfinsa outside of Kitwe in Zambia. Rainlands Timber employs more than 70 staff supplying a diverse set of products within processed wood. The company has developed the Saw-Duster stove with more than 500 units in operation, utilising the mill's sawdust. Rainlands Timber operates a tree plant nursery and trains prisoners of Kamfinsa Prison in agro forestry and permaculture.
